Melvina Patterson

Melvina Hawkins-Patterson was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and raised in a large family with eight siblings. She is the daughter of Kathy Grant and David Lavender, and credits her mother, Kathy, for inspiring her passion for writing and becoming an author.

Her highlighted book, Demons Rising: Return of the Damned, tells the story of two angelic warriors from different worlds who hold the keys to the gates of salvation while facing powerful evil dominion forces determined to stop them.
